No and I can see why, the whole thing is corroded and seized. It will all need to come out in order to dismantle it and access the damage. It’s a 50/50 gamble as to whether the motor shaft is salvageable to warrant sticking a new front end bearing in and replacing the pump impeller kit. I’ve successfully done many in my time but equally as many have been scrapped as uneconomically viable.

That’s settled then. The dishwasher was already on its last legs (well leg actually, the two front ones are missing for some reason). Time to begrudgingly buy a new one.

I really appreciate your time and expert advice – if it was down to me I’d have held out vain hope for far too long in order to avoid the expense.
