    hi
i’m having problems with a bosch sms4472/gb/20 dishwasher, it fills and drains ok, heats the water ok but keeps sticking on the rinse cycle ( the star at the end of timer knob), it does not do it every time but is pretty regular, i have replaced the timer and metering tank but still no joy…would it have anything to do with the regeneration valve?
any help will be gratefully received
    cheers

    No, nothing at all….

Other things to check are the float and it’s switch fitted into the metering tank, and the associated wiring for it where it enters the bottom of the door.

When it sticks, what is it actually doing i.e. nothing/pumping out/ quiet ticking etc?

Yep agree with above but please unplug before attempting any investigations :plug: 😀

The hose from the bottom of the metering tank to the sump in the middle used to clag up on these old fellas. Strange things used to happen as a consequence………

    Worth checking.
