Bosch T/Dryer Drum Seal

Bosch Tumble Dryer model WTA3100GB/09

Can someone point me in the right direction for a replacement for the following please?

The fabric ‘seal’ (approx 480mm diameter and 12mm across) that fits to the inside of the front panel, just inside the door, which the drum fits over and rotates on.

The existing one has got sticky black stuff all over it, so the drum now ‘squeals’ as it rotates. The black stuff may be from the two black plastic parts that sit next to this seal, which presumably act as a sort of bush when the drum is loaded.

Any advice gratefully received.

It comes as a felt and nylon bearing kit (Part No: 096416 cost £29.73) and will involve a complete dismantling to fit.

Thanks for the quick response Martin!

I know about the dismantling – I’ve had it all to bits at the weekend to try to find the source of the squealing noise!

Thanks for the advice on the part no. Coincidentlally, I’ve just had response to a query I made elsewhere who have quoted part no 179424 at twice the price you mention. I presume this is something completely different, as I can’t see it anywhere on the BSH list, and what you describe sounds just what I need!
