I have to admit, I didn’t know that any dryers had lights inside.

A question from a friend who has a Bosch T/D, he is not at home ATM so cannot give me exact model No: He says it is similar to a WTA 4408 Logixx but with a square door.

Is the light bulb change a simple matter or should he call out an engineer?

Hi, as far as i can remenber, the bulb is replaced from the top, ie remove the lid and or facia. or to be certain, poke your head inside the drum, check if the lenz is held by screws, then that will be changeable from inside the drum. Either way it is not so difficult.

On some models the lens cover is a simple push fit into the body on three legs, prise it out with small screwdriver, if it’s been well used may be good idea to have new lens available, they do get brittle after a time and the legs snap off
