Bosch tap light

Bosch slimline SPV25CXOOG/46 tap light flashing 2 seconds into wash, doesn’t even attempt to fill.
Is there a way to find the fault codes on these dishwashers? the tap light is obviously flashing for a fault but it is not obvious what. Base clear, element okay drain pump does run but 2 seconds.. and no water inside.??

as most late dishwashers start they go through a start sequence. you should hear not only the pump but also the wash motor speeding up and slowing down

this is probably due to the fact manufacturers are often using the motors as virtual sensors

have you checked for anything jamming wash motor ? you can often do this with a torch and a mirror from the sump

Thanks for the response Dave.. I will go back and check this but it does switch off quickly, the drain pump definitely runs but can’t be sure of the circumstances pump.

So there is no actual fault codes on this machine?
