Got a Bosch TD on, complaint Filter alarm keeps going off and the buzzer at the end doesn’t sound.

Stripped it down cleaned it an still the same. Do these two faults work together ie sensor module or have I missed a blockage?

    Thanks Kirk

    Kirk,

Is the cavity behind the ‘cooling box’ flooded? If so then the hose between the pump chamber and water container is blocked 😉

Pay particular attention to the hose coupling accessible from the rear panel and also the nozzle that connects to that water container. They get blocked with fluff that passes through the cooling box. A good clean out should cure it I reckon. Turn machine on and off a couple of times, then check to see all the water has pumped into that container 😀

first port of call would be whip the lid off and check the union between hose and bottle. the earlier models, the union was a 90deg knuckle bend and prone to getting blocked. if thats clear, blow down the hose to see if its clear, failing that right side off and check pump not blocked with fluff

Hi, let me add my voice to this, first pour about 330ml of water into the water container compartment, I mean remove to container, pour the water into the machine, which will run down into the pump area. Dont put the container back yet, turn machine on, same principle as a dishwasher, pump comes on first, you should be able to see the water coming into that compartment at the back, if you dont see this then you have a blockage. Also check the condenser unit on the bottom left. Good luck.

I think (we experts) are somewhat guilty of saying the same thing repeatedly here 😕

But I am intrigued about the 330 mls of water, I’ve never tried that one before? If the pump chamber is already flooded, as we suspect, wouldn’t that extra half pint simply spill out onto the floor?

Have a mop handy Kirk just in case 😉
