I have a new Bosch WAQ283S1GB_WH. After the transit bolts have been removed some plastic covers are provided which are supposed to be fitted over the holes. I’m damned if I can get them in though, they just seem slightly too big for the holes. Is there some clever technique to get them in?

Does it matter if they’re not fitted?

Not really, they’re only dust covers in effect.

If you want to put them in, the larger one slides down into the recess first and the small one with the short length of plastic pops into the top hole.

Thanks, I’d seen that, but all it says is ‘Insert the covers’. No amount of pushing/sliding will seem to persuade the largest part of the cover to fit into the large part of the hole!

Put the lower end in first you will then need to ease the large part in by moulding it around the entry hole. Once in it will form a nice tight fit.
