    I have a Bosch WTA 3100 that no longer gets hot, so I presume the heating element has failed as everything else works. The element appears to retail at around £140 so it would seem to be more cost effective to replace the machine as they seem to be available for as little as £180.
    Could it be anything other than the heating element that I could check?

    If I do change to a new Bosch will I still be able to stack it on my existing washing machine (WFK 2801) or will I have to replace that as well?

    Any advice would be gratefully received.

    Where on earth did you get that price from? The element is p/no 265764 and is £65.80 Inc VAT plus P&P. Drop an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you want to order one.
