    WTE84102GB/05

Drys normally for about 8 minutes then cuts out no lights.

Turn dial off and back on will start but then a relay clicks on board and machine goes dead.

Each start will enable various lengths of drying time from a few seconds to a couple of minutes.

Everything has been cleaned thoroughly (except for internal fan on motor) so there is good airflow and pump is working normally.

    No fault codes are displayed.

Suspect the pcb but wanted others opinion and if known the room temp values of 2 sensors 600157 and 154166

    Cheers Neil

    Yes that’s right.

It appears to be dead (no lights)

Turn dial from setting to off and then back to a setting a light comes back on.

sound like a board power supply fault
the chips on the board can go faulty and i have had this sort of a fault. if your confident about soldering find the chip and replace. they are not expensive

    Thanks Dave

The one thing i don’t understand is why the dryer will run for some time initially, 5 to 10 minutes before it becomes unusable.

I presumed it was a overheating or incorrect heat measurement issue.

if your confident about soldering find the chip and replace. they are not expensive

The dark art of soldering, looks easy, should be easy but my soldering is a bit hit and miss if im honest! :snig:

thing you can try first is take out the board and power it up on the bench. it will light up see if it goes off if you leave it on
