Hi I have called to the above tumble dryer with customer saying it was not heating, when I arrived at the house I found out it was a heat pump dryer and I have no experience with these so I am here looking for help. The dryer starts and the compressor kicks in and it gets hot but there is no heat in the drum.
Has anyone got experience with these dryers and come across this?

ok there is ver little heat in a heat pump dryer. All you get is waste heat from the compressor

have you checked air flow and is the condensor getting cold ?

go this poss test prog for this one

k test programme for this is make sure door is closed turn the dial clockwise 8 positions press and hold button nearest to dial and turn to position 9 release button and it should show errors if any and should show p09.
turn the dial anti clockwise start at position 1 this is test for motor and fan
p2 is the compressor test need to check that it’s pulling about 350 within the test
P3 is pump test and that’s all you can test, hope thus info helps this applies to most bosh Siemens dryers

As dave has said run a compressor test on p2 and when it’s running you can press one of the option buttons can’t remember which one but it will give you temperature aswell worth plugging in something to the wall or a meter to show the wattage it is drawing to give you indication its working kai
