Bosch tumble dryer WTS86519GB02
Visited this condenser dryer last week wasn’t draining, cleared pump and tested, now draining into tank ok.
Got a recall yesterday, appliance now tumbles and heats for 5 min then stops and goes back to the original time on the display. Customer also says appliance is getting excessively hot.

I have checked everything, any advise would be great. (also no blockages or earth leaks)

Is there adequate room ventilation, lint filter clean and condenser unit clean.
A genuine fault will usually show itself on the display and lamp flashing.

the appliance is being opperated in the center of the room and all the filters are clear. I have cleared the appliance filters and reservoir. Also this appliance is only about 2 years old all singing and dancing with lcd display.

Maybe worth checking the connection from the module to the sensors embedded in front manifold.
If thats ok I would say module, I had a brand new do the same fault.

agreed, ive had 2 of those doing that, both module fault

Will go back next week and have another look, will take service manual along this time. thanks again
