Our Bosch tumble dryer WTW87560GB-02 has developed a leak. This was after months of slower drying performance.
It looks like the heat pump is blocked with fluff. When I tilt the machine then water leaks out which is also full of fluff.
Is there any advice how to remove the back panel and clean the part ?
I have never done any work on a condenser dryer, but am confident in replacing brushes and heating elements on washing machines.
I have considered getting the Bosch service but it means waiting longer and taking time off work.

first thing to check is the pump but i think its not as easy to get at as the earlier models

If it’s a heat pump model its almost certainly worth getting an engineer to sort it, if it needs cleaning the drum has to be removed and the evaporator lifted to get underneath it. If you fractured any of the gas pipes in the process its basically a write off
