    Model WTA74100GB/09 vented dryer

Customer says the clean sensor light came on, and since they cleaned it, it’s never got very hot and everything is taking ages to dry.

I don’t go to many Bosch dryers, so not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} here.

Will it be a case of changing the sensor, and how difficult is that to do?

    Re: Bosch vented dryer

think the customer is getting wrong end of stick

according to the owners manual the light is only sensing filter and air blockages and does not detect sensors (attached)

the sensors as with most dryers is a conductivity sensor. if its contaminated then it wont sense. tumble dryer sheets can cause this and bosch mention lime scale in the manual

you need to look at the machine to know. check air flow, check filter is actually clean and you can see through it.

try a timed programme. these often use half heat but ignore dryness sensors
