Hi Simon

Nothing recognised on Bosch or Google with that info I’m afraid. If it’s a laundry product the ENR will probably start WVT or WTE.

I think its 1981 it was built. Also anybody know how to get to clamp band on drum as I need to fit doorseal and may poss have to remove lower cast iron weight

Hinge well obsolete. Door boot clamp band access (pozidrive screw type) via bottom inspection panel, no need to remove cast iron counterweight. I think the door boot is obsolete too? 😕

Thanks martin she has bought a pattern doorseal but the hinge has epoxy resin around it which is cracking. tried to get access to posidrive screw using flexidrive but weight in way. Maybe time to walk away from this one.

It is tight getting at that band clamp screw I’ll grant you. I use an extra long shafted pozidriver. The hinge incidentally can be welded though it needs specialist welding equipment to do it.

A local haulage contractor owner had the same problem with the hinge on his V691. I removed the hinge for him. We then took it to his repair workshops (where they fix their own 40 ton trucks/diggers and cranes) Much to my amazement a guy there put the hinge in a vice, donned a mask and welded the crack back together and ground the excess weld stuff smooth again. A bl**dy miracle performed right before my eyes….! 😯
