ParticipantWFT 8030 Washer dryer, push to reset TOC was triggered on this machine, reset it & tried machine with door open, seems to have good airflow. Told cust to try again & dont stop cycle mid way.. although she claimed she never does.. anyway, its gone again after a week :rolls:
Noticed an NTC poking into the airflow duct above door, is this the fella i want to be changing i wondered 😯 Thanks,

had one or 2 of these with knackered water valve not letting any water in hence overheat and trip.

Lazy fan motor use to be quite common but more likely blocked condenser. Did you take of the hose @ the bottom of the condenser?

No, did’nt look at that hose, might try that then. Inlet triple valve was changed by my good self about 3 years ago, seems to be pulsing normally on dry. Blockage or NTC then? Anyone know resist values?

I would also check for pcb issues. Get the machine going on spin and see if the air coming through the ducting exhaust at the door seal is warming up. If the air is warming/getting hot then the triac is switching the neutral (dryer elements live both sides when not needed).
If I come across a Bosch style w/d that has tripped the TOC, after resetting and checking condenser and fan operation I always do a spin with door open.February 13, 2009 at 12:05 pm #277155Madmac
