Anyone know why a Bosch WVF2402gb01 would leak right at the end of a dry cycle? Apparrently its from the condenser feed resovoir at the top rear. I have cleaned the condenser best I can but still leaks.

The most common problem is the inlet hoses rubbing against each other or on the cabinet and puncturing 😉 The condenser unit is a bugger to access properly and clean without fully removing, then putting it back requires caution as the bottom hose is attached from inside the drum (so be careful you don’t dislodge it!)

These have a horrible habit of leaking from the hose that connects the condenser to the tank.
Word of warning, it’s a nasty job :tdown:

Still got a problem with this so trying it again. It definatly leaks from the small container the condenser supply water fills into before it flows into the condenser itself. and it only leaks at the end of the dry cycle.

The 189597 Air Break Container I guess you mean Mark? Probably limescaled up then like the Zanussi ones get 😕

Yes Martin that is where it leaks but its not as simple as it being blocked. There is a hole in it (thats supposed to be there) and the normal running water level when drying is way below this, but during the last few minutes of the drying cycle, the water level suddenly rises and it pee’s out the hole. Clue, it didnt start until the customer moved house. Water pressure is not excessive and turning the tap down didnt make any difference. The condenser itself is clear, although it was blocked but I dare not remove it as you have all warned me about that dodgy hose at the bottom. The fan motor does come off which gives good access to the condenser for cleaning and I am sure it is as clear as it ever could be.
