bosch w/m logixx 8 error code S18

Would need the full Enr Richard to be sure but if its a fairly new machine F18 is a draining problem.

paul, thanks, enr…WAS24466GB/11… FD8802. she says just over 2 yrs old which is about right for the FD. went today, filled, drained, spun all ok. she then says it always happens on the quick wash “eco” and occasionally on other programs.. to me, today all was well??? :rolls:

F:18 on that model is definitely a drain problem. Maybe check the drain and hoses for a coin possibly swivelling and intermittently causing slow/no drain ? Also , and i’m not teaching you to suck eggs , don’t forget the sink connection if there is one.

paul, thanks, drains into a standpipe and i checked the flow into the outside grid. looked and sounded ok. is there a different kind of “air bottle” arrangement on this model. on previous bosch there is a small”airbottle/tank” inside the machine connected between the hose from the drain pump and then to the hose to the standpipe?
i’m sure i’ll be going back soon!

There is a small ‘connection’ bottle but i’ve never had any probs with it. Had 1 or 2 pumps intermittently fail but thats about it on the draining side .
