    Hi all,

Have the above m/c that was reported to be overheating and sure enough when I looked at it and the soap drawer was distorted from obvious heat damage. I had an NTC at home and I’ve just stuck it in and it appears to be working.
The heat came on as planned and cut out again when it hit 30 degrees.
    Good stuff!
Now the customer tells me as I’m about to leave that it normally only over heats when doing a 60 wash, and not all the time!!!

I’m not sure what to do now, sign it off or write it off, as I doubt she’ll spring for a board which I’m beginning to think might be faulty as I can’t think of anything else causing this.

Has anyone had an intermittent heat fault on these?

    Cheers

    Dave.

I’ve had a couple with heater relay sticking. Anytime there’s water in the drum heater is on, even on rinse it boils!!
