Has anyone got some tech info on this machine that they could (accidentally?) email to me, please?

After replacing the brushes and giving the motor a good clean up (yes, checked for free movement of new brushes), it decided to overheat the inductor (at least that’s what I think the black and copper-wound sticky uppy thingy on the module is called!) and gave out a strong burning smell after a few washes.

I traced the track on the module back to the edge connector going to the door interlock, so replaced the interlock, hoping the board had survived.

Still had the burning smell again, after a few washes, so I’ve replaced the module.

Again, after a few washes, and more predominantly on a 60deg wash, the burning smell is back.

The heater checked out fine on both continuity and insulation, and I even removed it to check nothing was caught up in it that was beginning to singe, and found nothing.

    Help!!
    Thanks, Pigpen.

As I expect you are aware, radio interference filters are favourites for producing burning smells before finally giving up.
    Mike.
