    Hi guys,

has anyone done the bearings on the above machine? How big a job is it to take the drum out to do the job? Any Bosch engineers willing to part with their infinite knowledge 💡 ❓ , I would be very grateful 🙂 .

    Thanks in advance

Pretty similar to a Zanussi plastic drum bearing change except it involves taking thru the front therefore the dispenser and control panel need shifting first. The shock absorber pins are much the same and once you’ve got it in bits only then can you be sure of the state of the drum shaft. 🙁

If that shaft has pitted thru loose ball damage then it will need a new inner drum and that gets costly! :rolls:

I’ve done 2 and the 1st one I did failed again after 18 months in spite of what I thought was a clean drum shaft and packing in loads of grease. 🙁

I ain’t doing any more unless folks shell out for a new inner drum as well as bearings etc.

    Oh….order a 2 halves seal while your at it….. 😉

Thanks for the reply Martin. The bearings are just squeaking at the moment and no movement on the shaft, so might be alright to do bearings only.
