ParticipantWent out to a Bosch maxx6 waa24171gb/12. The rinse light was flashing. Changed the worn out brushes but rinse light is still flashing.

you can try this , it has worked on a few …….
To reset it.Turn the appliance knob to the off or reset position, 12 o’clock.
Turn the knob to the 6 o’clock position.
Press and hold the spin button.
Whilst holding it, turn the knob to the 7 o’clock position.
Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds.
Release the button.
Turn the knob to off.
When your turn it back on it should have cleared the error code

Thanks Dave and loopey went back .
Tried what Martin suggested in the link and no go. Tried different variations and after five minutes of finger twister I tried it at eleven not one oclock and it jumped into life .
So thanks again alls good with the world for now. 😆 .February 28, 2011 at 8:26 pm #345800loopey

To be honest loopey it’s a good idea in theory because it stops the customer from frying the motor by constantly selecting spin.
When I changed the brushes there was no signs of the braid scoring the com like you often get with bosch brush changes.
What would be handy is a list of all the reset procedures because it looks like we are going to see a lot more of this.
