Does anyone know whether this machine has a separate Pre- Wash prog.
Also customer had rinse/hold on her last Bosch and wants to find it on this one.The instruction booklet is so poor like all Bosch instructions, particularly changing parts.

Dont think you have either of them options on this model. I know what you mean about the instrustion booklet for the waa range its a cheap photocopied booklet. You have to go up to WAE range to get a colour book and complete instructions.
Saying that about 2 years ago I fitted a waa that would do a pre wash when you selected express wash. The customer was not happy when her express wash took half hour longer than a normal wash. 😉Re: Bosch WAA24171Gb washer
Do the customer a favour and sell her a Wae. If she has had a previous Bosch she won’t be happy with a Waa pre wash or not 😉
In my opinion the WAA24171 is a superb machine, better than the rest of the WAA range.
If you look at the facia panel it says ‘pre wash’ next to the 60 degree cotton wash.
I suppose the thinking being that there is not alot of point having a ‘pre wash’ on short/ quick washes.I dont think the ‘rinse hold’ is an option though.
