Hi all, hope all is well.
Bosch WAB24161 washing machine. E16 which I think is a door lock fault. Does anyone know the reset procedure on the WAB range? Ta.

have you checked the door lock?

That fault code is one a customer would get if they did not close the door. Its unlikely the manufacturer would build a reset into the code for this fault

I replaced the door lock & it didn’t clear the E16 code. I tried all the normal Bosch resets but to no avail. Luckily nowadays with customers having to stay in another room & not breathing down your neck (I’ve been wanting this to happen for years) I had more time to try things out. Somehow I did get it to clear – I’d really like to know what the official reset is mind.

i think there is 3 reset proceedures the common one is still the 6 oclock one

I’ve got another one of the same model to do Tuesday so I’ll do my best not to panic & start playing it like a fruit machine & record what reset works…
