    Hi All,
Went to above appliance as advised won’t go into spin, clothes wet. Checked usual things and all functioning okay on visit.
Customer rang a couple of days later and said filled but nothing else, so appeared no drum action. Wired on a new motor which took a while as this is one of those where you and the washer won’t fit in the same space!
Anyway, it filled, tumbled for a few turns, then pumped out, spin light flashed and then door opened.
Would be grateful for any pointers as difficult to test too much in cramped conditions.

I’m not altogether sure what you mean by that Gary but assuming the motor and brushes are OK then the symptoms suggest perhaps an earth leak on the heater?

    Thanks Martin,
Sorry yes, I actually fitted a new motor as had one, this was not easy in the space i had believe me. i checked the heater on my first visit and didn’t get any earth leak, but after I had left and thought about fault it did ring bells I think I have done another make that had dodgy heater and similar symptons, but as this job took me so long I was late for other jobs so didn’t double check everything. i will revisit with time and check. thanks
