ParticipantCalled to this one this morning customer complained of a blocked pump, I cleared the pump and when I tried to put the machine on test the 1200, 800 & rinse hold LED’s started to flash.
I checked the machine over and found the carbons to be worn out, so I replaced them and tried again, still the same problem :rolls:
When I have checked the known error codes thread just now, it would seem that the LED’s in question refer to a motor fault. Can the fault code be cleared or is it more likely that the motor is actually goosed.
Cheers

i found this dont no iff it works tho
hthTo reset it.
Turn the appliance knob to the off or reset position, 12 o’clock.
Turn the knob to the 6 o’clock position.
Press and hold the spin button.
Whilst holding it, turn the knob to the 7 o’clock position.
Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds.
Release the button.
Turn the knob to off.
When your turn it back on it should have cleared the error code.

suspect the motor or PCB is knackered, as you shouldnt have to clear a fault for the machine to work.

as you shouldnt have to clear a fault for the machine to work.
You do have to clear the fault on this range. Even if its a carbon brush change.

bob could you send me that info to please
have pm you 🙂December 15, 2010 at 9:53 pm #338827nomadPaul
ParticipantThis is the F:21 fault and will often lock the machine out . Its designed to stop the carbon brushes wearing down too much and thus preventing commutator damage.
You have to enter the test programme to clear the fault code and get the machine working again….
Appliances with displays will be F:21
Appliances without display will be top middle and bottom spin speed LED’s

hi nelson
you say that the above reset worked for you. i’m just wondering how you held down the spin button when in fact it is touchsensitive.
do you continue to touch it, ie keep your finger on at all times, or did touching it once work.
i’d like to know cos i sold quite a few of these and they’ll be due carbons soon.
what part of northumberland are you in? i’m alnwick area.February 27, 2011 at 5:07 pm #338832Bernie

Hello Keith, yeah I just kept my finger on the button, and it worked a treat 😀
I operate from Blyth BTW, but don’t get much further than Morpeth most of the time 😳
