Bosch Wae24367 f17 error

Can anyone help with this, a WAE24367 washer with error code E17 which I found it had a faulty inlet valve (1 coil o/c) but since fitting new one it will only fill for about 10 secs then stop. I have tried to clear the error using the selector to 6 o’clock then touch spin speed button while moving selector 1 click clockwise, this shows E17 flashing but it does not seem to clear. Am i doing this correctly for this machine?

correct procedure

turn dial to 6 o clock ( wait 2 secs)

press and hold spin speed

turn to 7 o clock (wait 2 secs)

now release spin button

Thanks for your reply, I have tried again but same problem, I think there may be a problem with the board.
