E21 fault carbons shot couldnt clear the error code the usual turn to 6 press spin turn to 7 but it did clear press start turn 2 clicks left. However the display then showed 1888 pressed start got a few seconds motor then valves calling first one then other water not connected due to position. turned the machine off then on and got 300 after fiddling about I get either 1888 300 or one minute but wont respond to any program. Any ideas?

have you tried resetting it again ?

think there are 3 Bosch reset procedures that I know of ,try them all

yes tried them all multi times I spent some time on Google and found a few more ideas which I will try

got this sorted, from off press and hold start turn knob ONE “not two” clicks left after about 10 seconds an odd display shows, turn off all now seems ok.
hope this might be of help to some other poor sod.
