Hi guys
Customer showed me a video of the machine making some strange scraping/ juddering noises coming from the machine. At first I thought something had got jammed between the drums. I have eliminated that and think its motor related.
This has a small 3 phase motor ( looks like it belongs in a vacuum cleaner 🙂 )
Just wondering if anyone else has had any dealings with these

It’s not the sensor scraping on the drum pulley is it?

It’ll be the motor module…..and the appliance should still under the Bosch 2 yr warranty.

The failure of the motor module gives a symptom as if the drum is jamming . It will squeak and jerk as if something is stopping the drum from turning freely. There will probably be an error code of E:74 or E:75 in the test programme memory.
Weirdly , if you run a motor test cycle it normally doesn’t actually mis-behave.

Off the top of my head , it should be the selector switch round to the 6 o’clock position , hold the spin speed button and turn selector switch one click clockwise.
