Bosch WAQ washing machine door repair??

HI just called on this job door hinge problem.
the door surround seems to held together with plastic rivets no screws.
tried to take it apart but stopped because these rivets are breaking.

❓ how does this door come apart without damaging the front and back fascia.

You can’t replace the hinge or handle on these. You need to order and fit 00702562 Door and Hinge complete retails @ £66.31 direct from BSH.

just been to WAQ 18mnths old bearings gone i have sold a few of these machines thats two i have seen in the last 6months not good

The days of the trade recommending Bosch are over.

The problem with an 18month old Bosch suffering such a major breakdown in this way would put the onus on the retailer. ‘Not fit for purpose’ and such like the public is entitled to shout. And the ‘6 year rule’ all reflect badly on the retailer.

It certainly does reflect on the seller in more ways than one. If you stick your neck out and ‘recommend’ this c r a p then I suggest you think again. Bosch are no better at making white goods than Haier or Candy. I challenge anyone to prove otherwise.

The reason I stopped selling machines many years ago, was tempted to start again but think I’ll stick to just repairs

just replaced this door with another model which I had in the workshop.
i BER a couple of these Main Drum Shaft gone,

WAS24466gb/05 FD 8709 the door HANDLE is in a different place at
2o’clock BUT THE LOCK CATCH IS IDENTICAL . and there’s a Gray banding surround on the door glass which looks good to the eye.

Done a WET test everything is Cool For Cats,

Also I Transfer the original Sticker on the door and made a note on the customer manual of the original ENR FD Numbers.
Also DOOR PARTS ONLY WAS and fd numbers of The replacement and always Spares for that Model door .

Customer Happy so am I Garn 😀
