Our Bosch washing machine has become really really noisy when spinning. I checked the play on inner drum and it noticeably rocks when you try to move it side to side, and when you spin by hand it sticks in one direction at a certain point in the 360 degree rotation so suspect bearings may be shot. It seems this model does not have bearings that can be replaced, you have to change the tub which costs ~£250 part cost. Are there any other checks I could try before replacing the tub or machine ? Does anyone think it is it replacing the tub if I can do it myself ?
Thanksthe tub is £238.94 from Bosch with no guarentee the machine will work for any length of time
on the other side you can get a 1400 spin Bosch WAN series for £368 (WAN28081GB). Thats £129 more but the whole machine has a 2 year guarentee. On top of that as far as we know this range still uses a split tub so bearings can be done if they fail
So for an extra £129 you get 2 years guarentee
you dont have to spend a few hours stripping the one you have to replace the tub
and the new machine has a better tub build than your old oneits a no brainer in my book

I don’t have any bosch washing machine I have the Lg one and I have the same problem like noise when spinning. So I tried to fix the drum which I think is striking one of the walls and that is why it noise come, So after many trials, I don’t fix it, So that is why if anyone knows any washing machine repair in Dubai pls inform me. It will be very helpful to me.
