    Hi,

I feel like this is a stupid question and I have missed something ridiculously obvious but does anyone have any tips for re-inserting the transit bolts into this washing machine?

When I try to put them back in, the thread in the drum is way too high and doesn’t line up with the bolt I’m inserting. Even if I stand in the drum to put downward pressure, the thread inside the machine still doesn’t drop enough for me to screw the bolt in.

How can I get them in?!

    Thanks

I’m sending it in a shipping container to Australia, don’t fancy my chances without the bolts in!

try filling it with water. the drum and pump will still work with the bolts in and the extra weight should help. or you can do it outside and take the filter out

OK I figured it out, I was being stupid. Didn’t realise you need to push the plastic plug upwards before screwing the bolt in. Sorry it does fit in fine now and thanks for the help. 🙁

When it comes to inserting the transit bolts, make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully. These bolts are designed to secure the drum during transit to prevent any damage to the machine. Once the bolts are inserted, be sure to check the stability of the drum to ensure it’s properly secured. It’ll be fine if you follow all the instructions. I also suggest cehcking scrooz.com.au for some more tips on this topic. Let me know if it was helpful

This thread is almost two years old I am sure the poster has solved the issue by now.

No doubt Texans use the same transit boilts as us in the UK.
