Bosch WAQ28461GB/12 Cleared Blockage Stuck 1 min See Photo?

Hi,
Complaint was E18 and water still in machie. Messed around with it himself then called me out.

Colour picker stuck in entrance to filter, cleared blockage but the program when switched on goes straight to 1 minute, the door lock key flashes, some symbols light but just sits there apparently dead in every other respect. Buttons just beep when touched.

I know the pump works as I put 230v across it and it emptied the water residue out.

Tried resetting prog – off then 6 o’clock, press spin button move clockwise one position, hold for 3-5 secs and release then switch off. This does not clear it. Tried the 11 o’clock position one too, nada.

What did happen during the 1st procedure was that after pressing spin button and moving one position, all th ‘8’ flashed to ‘on’, then moved to a flashing E18 then went off.

But as I say it still goes to 1 min every time it is switched on. Is there a specific reset procedure for this ilk of machine?

What you think is 1 minute shown in the window may well be in fact 1 hour delay start? And the key flashing is the child lock. So try holding the start button for 5 seconds in the hope that that will reset it?

You’re a legend Martin. Just rang the customer and talked him through taking child lock off and it worked and prograkms are now selectable. Trying to fix it himself he must have put the child lock on.
