Bosch WAS 24460 GB/08 Cuts out

Hi all

Select prog, press start- door locks & machine starts process, after 15/30 secs it shutsdown & display goes blank.
Power to machine & board OK.
took pcb apart & checked caps & joints – all appear ok.
Would have thought it must be Power or operating module, 😕 But which one?
Any clues anyone

its one of those questions and there is no clear answer but it does sound a bit like a power problem
chances are the power board uses a switch mode power supply. the chips they use sometimes fail so my next step would be to arrange to check the output voltage of the chip after the machine fails. I expect an output voltage of say 12 to 20 volts if it starts ok then goes to zero you have found it
also had a miele with a similar problem ended up being a voltage regulator chip failing after start up
