    Hello

As above, my machine is showing F:57 in the display. It first appeared towards the end of a wash cycle which never completed. The door is not unlocking, and switching the machine off and back on after a delay doesn’t make any difference. A few seconds after the selector dial is moved to a any wash programme, the machine starts beeping and flashes F:57.

I can’t see any obvious leaks or floods below the machine.

With the door locked and the machine still loaded, I can’t get at any machine details that Bosch are going to want. However, I fished out my invoice which tells me that the model is WAS24460GB, bought in Oct 2010, which means it is now out of the standard two-year guarantee. Not having had trouble with Bosch appliances before, I didn’t consider taking out an extended warranty – and Sod’s Law struck! :rolls:

Can anyone advise what the code means, and whether I can do anything myself? Thanks very much in advance!

I believe it relates to a motor fault? Suggest you take a look at the motor.

Hmm … that sucks! I can’t get at the back because the machine is loaded and I don’t have a grip to move it out of its slot. Will have to wait until I can get someone in.

    Thanks for the resply, martin.

Why haven’t gone for the emergency drain out and door release procedure in order to get the water and clothes out? Did you not read the user instruction leaflet you got with the appliance. :rtm: ?
