Bosch WAS28466GB beeper

Having just acquired this machine, we find the end-of-run beeper really annoying.

I have found several references around the web to this ‘feature’ – and some imply that it is possible to switch it off. But I cannot see any instructions (with the machine or on the web or Usenet) for doing so.

So, please, any suggestions? Or detailed instructions?

If you can give me the last bit of the enr number from inside the door ie WAS28466GB/ ?? and your email address I`ll send you a copy. You can reduce the volume level IIRC.

Don,

Thank you. I understand now – it is not what we had expected or wanted!

Looking at the instructions (I did have them in my hand), I went straight past that section because all I wanted to do was switch off the *end* beep (and repeats thereof) – so the wording around this didn’t quite catch my attention.

Anyway – we do now see what it is all about.
