Hi Guys, thought this was just a straight forward brush and reset job for F43 fault.
Brushes were worn out, replaced and tried reset procedure but no go. After turning dial to 6 o’clock position display lights up with BOSCH on screen, no flashing start button, then goes to error. Tried with motor disconnected too.
Should the door lock when dial is turned to 6 o’clock position?
    Any ideas please?

Turn the appliance knob to the off or reset position, 12 o’clock.
Turn the knob to the 6 o’clock position.
Press and hold the spin button.
Whilst holding it, turn the knob to the 7 o’clock position.
Continue holding the spin button for about 5 seconds.
    Release the button.
    Turn the knob to off.
When your turn it back on it should have cleared the error code.
    Hope this helps Steve..

Thanks Martin, could the door lock be part of the problem too? Would that stop the start button from flashing?

    Thanks

Thanks Steve but I’ve tried that, several times.

Hi Alan I’ve had exactly the same symptoms as what you have described, on closer examination of the motor brushes they had caused the commentator to wear which had caused the module to blow, it was quite clear once the module had been taken out what had happened. Steve

Hi Steve, I had the boards out, but no visible signs of damage. Not to say a component has not failed.
