    Model WAS32466GB/05 S/N8707200203
There are 2 faults with this machine.
Firstly it won’t spin a load of washing regardless of the load, large or small. It will distribute and attempt to spin, but then stop and retry.I’ve tried with an empty drum and it then spins up to full speed.Could this be a slack belt or something electronic perhaps.
There is also a problem with the programme in that the counter will for example repeat a “quick wash” and do it twice, and still not get to zero, the customer has to turn it off manually.
They maintain that both these faults happened at the same time, so could there be a common thread.
    Any ideas appreciated.

Might be the magnetic load sensor on the pulley causing problems. Or it could be low earth insulation on the motor. Did you megger the motor?

Oh, and the FULL Enr number of the machine would be best to give. 😉

Probably the 3D sensor , sits behind a big magnet on the rear of the drum. Part no615666. Wiz.

Thanks a bunch Wiz. You wouldn’t guess (yes you would)

The customer had been playing and removed a screw at the back which attaches the sensor to the cabinet, so it was hanging on the harness. The result was that it would spin without a load but any vibration caused by clothes in the drum would shake the sensor and register “out of balance”.

Thanks again for your expertise, top man.
