Bosch washer

Bosch wae24063 gb/30 trips electric insulation check over 400meg ohms trips after 5 mins on. Any ideas I’m sure it’s motor fault

Probably heater. If you megger machine empty the heater is isolated. Take the front off and megger the heater. Hope this helps. Al.

When it tripped the electric after 5 mins it would trip straight away when I switched it back on didnt think the heater would cause that had a motor do it on 1 before that showed fine when i meggared it

Heater relay cuts in after about 5 mins. If you switch it back on after tripping prog carries on from same place so relay cuts in straight away. I might be wrong but still sounds like heater to me!! Al

since the unit will run without the heater. pull the 2 wires off the heater and try it

Had a heater cut through by drum. Meggered fine at mains plug but failed when directly connected to element.
