hi any ideas on a bosch washing machine fault wfo2465gb/01 basically it has a supply to the machine but there is no display or sign of life whatsoever ..was thinking pcb board but could anything else cause this?…even if the interlock was faulty there should be some dislay surely…thanks…
Yes, the display should come up if there is power to the machine – so – either the mains suppressor has failed (1st point that the power hits), or the computer board has failed (2nd point of contact). Computer board is £114 plus vat BTW, so keep your fingers crossed…..
Power off if investigating, click the link below for an engineer if you’re not confident.
thanks for the quick response…yes i checked the suppressor was ok so its looks like pcb .. apparently bosch are out of stock n waiting for supplies from germany ..this is the 3rd machine i know of with this same fault…maybe faulty batch???.regards
Doubt it as it happens on other models produced in the last 4 years 🙁
I have noted that they often fail when the power supply is interrupted during use (faulty plug/socket connections, localised power failures, thunderstorms and power surges).
The main relay terminals on the board fail I suspect?
