Complaint no heat on dryer. The red button reset stat had tripped. Pushed back in and all seems well. Very clean everywhere, fan runs fine etc.
Could just be a one off but is there anything I need to look at if it happens again in this machine?

It usually happens as a result of a fluff build-up at the bottom of the condenser unit and the rubber corrugated hose. Front panel off and a bit of wire poked up into the condenser to clean out! 😉

Thanks Martin, will check that out if I get a recall.

Also agree on the blockage in the condenser, I always pop the bottom hose and have a good poke with a coathanger up around the top bend to clear anything away.
Also worth checking for correct triac/pcb operation. Trip the door switch, and put the machine onto spin. Hold your hand just under the air ducting when it goes into spin and feel the air temp doesn’t rise. The dryer triac or main power pcb can cause the neutral circuit to complete and allow the dryer elements to heat which would also cause the trip to trip. I find running the spin with door open the easiest way to be sure of no electronic fault.
Just remember to untrip the door switch after this though.
