Bosch Washer dryer steam coming out of drawers WVTI2842GB

Having grief with our washer dryer.
I’m an engineer so I’ve had it in bits.
Cleaned the fan impellers and ended up finding the drain pipe blocked. Unblocked everything and it is running better.
The pale blue solenoid valve on the 3 valve inlet block doesn’t seem to be operating to allow restricted water in to cool the chamber to turn the steam to condense and drain away.

I’ve changed the inlet block twice and I’m watching this one now on its first run.
however I tested the valve blocks.
both white valves if I out 240v onto them they open and I can blow through them.
however on the pale blue one with the restrictive when I put 240v on and blow nothing happens.

Am I just unlucky? These were both off eBay.
ive got the covers off, it’s not getting as hot but I can still feel water at the bottom of the detergent tray at the front.
the steam is starting to damage the door making it swell as it’s an integrated unit.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I’ve changed the t’stat for the heaters and the inline temperature sensor for the warm return air.
Drain pipework can be blown through.

To me it looks like the valve is suspect again. Surely you put 240v on and it should work.

I assume you are blowing through the valve while applying 240v

first check the coil is energising, you may be able to hear it click as you add the power or use a multimeter to check continuity

if that seems ok then you have to try it with a water supply unless you can blow 50psi as valve may be stuck but water pressure should open it

Thanks for the prompt reply.
Yes I was applying 240v and blowing through it.
On both of the white valves you could hear the coil was energised.
The pale blue one didn’t make any noise.

Just running it in the machine now. The drawer is getting steamy again.
no water is coming down the drain from
the solenoid block so I’m assuming this 2nd second hand valve set is also NG.

I’ve checked voltage at the valve connections, not continuity.

Thanks Dave.

That’s what I was thinking too.
just needed someone to bounce my thoughts off.
I’m guessing the ones I’ve bought second hand were off faulty machines.

I’ll buy a new one.
I noticed the Smeg alternative on the post for the spare part I looked at earlier but again, thanks for the confirmation.
I’ll buy one and fit it and post up the result.

So the new Smeg valve assembly arrived the other day.
I connected 240v onto the coil and could blow through it easily.
Swapped it over and tested.
All seems to work fine.
I took the outlet hose off and had a nice dribble of cold water when it was calling for cooling.

So, all good. Both valves I had off eBay were u/s but they refunded them.
