Bosch washer dryer won’t release child lock

Bosch wvd2452gb/01 the door will lock when turned on and unlock after a couple of mins when turned off, I’ve tried as is says in the manual to hold the time delay button for 5secs but all it does is 2 beeps none of the buttons will do anything, is there a reset for these? The only problem I found was a blocked filter.

When you press and hold in the button for 5 secs does the key symbol switch off on the display?

No it stays on all the time,

OK, so at the end of any programme the count down timer should show 0:01 and then the child lock must be deactivated otherwise the door CANNOT be opened. Only when the display shows -0- can the door be opened.

Thanks for that, phone call to customer tomorrow to see if he can do it to save me a trip,
