It usually flows all the while the dryer is on. So either the valve coil is open circuit or the NTC at the front of the heater box faulty.

By the way, you’d best check on that model number again as it don’t compute on the BSH site. If its an integrated m/c then it should begin WVTI (I for integrated) 😉

    Assuming you mean a WVTI2840GB/04?
Smeg made machine, the bottom NTC is for wash water so unlikely to be the cause, the valve is not energised straight away, usually after about 10 mins, (the machine may even do a quick spin before it does engage). the power module is in the bottom front corner on this one and may be worth checking for dry joints. if the pcb is marked: VSD010_C63 then it is faulty from new and must be changed.

Why does it spin on dry, what would happen if it was delicates in the drum? Do you have any technical on this machine as i have a Neff one that is doing similar fault and i have just been changing everything to see if it will work, it really does have me stumped.

    Please Help

why does it spin? do you have any technical on these? On my machine it dosnt fill till 10 minutes in to the cycle and then it will spin for 5 minutes on maximum speed then 15 minutes on it will be full of water and be washing with the dryer fan and heater on, and we have changed just about everything, your help would be welcolm.
