Bosch washer WFK2200GB/12 FD 7701 drum bearings

Original bearings ODs 52 and 40, and IDs 40 and 18.

I ordered non gen replacements form Qtex and they are much bigger – the OD of the larger bearing is 72mm. I checked with BHS and it seems this is correct. I’m at a loss. I know that the customer bought the machine reconditioned and she is under the impression that it is a bitsa, so is it possible that a bearing housing and drum assy was fitted from a different model?

Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully received.

Hi Martin, Thanks for that, it’s the bearing kit I bought. Definitely looks like the bearings and housing etc fitted to my machine are from a different mod

I’ve always just taken the bearing number off the bearing sleeve and never resorted to measuring the OD/ID. What number is stamped on those old bearings an?way? A WFK2200GB/12 should have 6305ZZ and 6306ZZ.

Hi Martin,

The smaller one is a 6203zc3 and the larger one just says Poland. Actually my biggest problem is finding an appropriate seal.

Sounds very much like you need BKT77 then which has 6205zz & 1x 6203zz Bearings and 1x 32×52/78×8/14.8 Bearing Seal

Hi Martin,

Thanks for getting back to me on this one but the customer decided to go with a new machine. I was quite relieved as the smaller bearing was a very loose fit in its’ housing. So much so that it pretty much dropped out when I removed the housing from the machine. A new housing is no longer available from Bosch and I would have felt very uncomfortable using the old one.
