Going to a Bosch Washer WFP3201GB/01 showing Error 005. Customer says “drum not turning”. (could just be “05”)

Can’t find a sticky with error codes for this machine

    Can anyone help?

    Much appreciated.

It’s a motor brush/brush housing fault. 😉 The display should in fact show F05. 🙂

    Thanks Martin

Just off to do it…hopefully I have the right carbons on the van……..
(and I always bed them in with the hard commo resurfacing stick. It does wonders)

    I will let you know.

Is there a sticky with this Bosch fault listed?

    I don’t believe there is. 🙁

By the way, I always recommend changing the motor end housing. 😉

Re: Bosch Washer WFP3201 Error 005

Customer reported an error code of “10” previously. Had someone else out (I was on holiday) and they changed the pump (??) – then found a blowout on the rear (motor control) PCB (it’s an old machine, they are mounted up in the top if you remember) and patched it up. Worked for a while.

Yesterday I found a dry joint in their repair of the board, and I changed the carbons anyway as they were three quarters worn.

Customer wants me to get them a new PCB (I think the old one is beyond repair now) Hopefully that will sort it. (£160 plus VAT RP from BSH!!) Yes I told them it would be expensive!

    (What is an “E10”?)

    regards
