The above washer beeps and flashes F05, checked carbons which still have lots of wear left, the comm looks in good condition. Tried known good replacement motor and tested continuity of the wires from the board to the motor but still getting same fault. Has anyone had a problem in the past with this model ? should I assume it’s the module ?

I wouldn’t, besides they’re to expensive to replace anyway as a rule. What I would say is that the modules on these are built like brick outhouses and unlikely to fail unless the armature goes down to earth?

It’s usually the motor that’s the problem and a motor that has a bad earth fault will take the module with it. Close inspection of the PCB is advised of course. 😉
