Bosch Washing Drum Bearing Problem

Our Bosch washing machine [wfx148sgb/15] has got very noisy Drum
Bearings.
I can, buy a bearing kit for this.

The question is, will I need special tools to remove the old and
install the new bearing in the Drum?

I have the engineering skills for this and most tools and a workshop.

yes and no

for removal, a good size hammer and a good bar will get them out

for refitting, some people use a small drift and a hammer to tap them in, others use threaded bar,with thick washers to draw them in, everyones different

youll find the hardest part is gettin the drum out to split it to get at them if im honest

I have ordered the Drum Bearing to repair this washer.
