Bosch washing machine eXXcel 1600 express

The fabric conditioner compartment of my Bosch washing machine does not drain away after each wash. I have had the drawer out and checked that it is not blocked. Does anybody have any idea what else could be causing the problem? Thanks!

Check the roof of the drawer for mould and rod the four holes with a little plastic cable tie.

Thanks for your suggestion.

I did clean out the 4 little holes above the conditioner compartment (I used a fairy cake candle holder!) and I checked using a mirror and they are clear (which I admit they weren’t at the outset 🙁

Do you think there is anything else that might be causing the problem?

The roof will be the problem. As Simon said, you need something long, skinny and flexible to push through the holes and wiggle vigorously. Candle holder is probably too short and not ‘bendy’ enough.
