Bosch washing machine fault

Bosch maxx6 washing WAE24063GB/28
Above machine stopped during cycle leaving rinse led flashing. After pressing buttons a few times led changed to wash flashing but machine wouldn’t start. Changed carbon brushes but still cannot get machine to start any ideas on how to reset it. This machine has no display so no error codes visible.

try

turn knob to off wait 5 secs
turn knob to 6 o clock wait 5 secs
press and hold spin speed button wait 5 secs
turn knob to 7 o clock while still holding spin button wait 5 secs
release spin button wait 5 secs
now turn knob to off wait 5 sec

now turn on and see if it works

sometimes this reset does not work first time
