    First things first.
    Bosch Washing Machine
    E-NR WFF1401GB /01
    FD 8004 01023

My washing machine is ignoring the fabric conditioner I put in the tray. When the cycle is finished it is still there – although it may watered down slightly, I’m not sure.

The clothes are coming out rougher, so there’s proof. I’m having to stop the thing in mid cycle and add straight to the drum at the moment.

    Any ideas anyone?

    cheers

Well I do clean it every now and then as it gets absolutely flithy (why is that). I didn’t think they were, but I’ve just cleaned it again, so I’ll see if that works.

When the machine is at the conditioner cycle, does it just flood the bay until it all goes down the thin pipe?

I found an image of the part here where yo can just see the pipe poking up from the base of the drawer.

If you look at the roof section , you will see 2 slits along the centre area around 2″ from the front. These will be blocked , not only the holes themselves but the channels above them. Get yourself a long cable-tie and insert it into these holes and ‘bend’ it so it goes backwards. Use it like a chimney sweep brush , backwards and forwards. Hopefully this will dislodge some of the black mould that will prob be stuck in there. Then run it on a rinse cycle to flush through. Hpefully this will be enough to clear it and get the water coming out of it again .
